1. Controller and data protection officer
Information concerning the controller and data protection officer can be found in the data protection declaration of the university.
2. Description and categories of data
An e-mail to the secretary of the section for history of science & technology at the University of Stuttgart will be generated from the information which you provide in the web form. In addition to your entries in the form fields, the date and time will be recorded in the generated email. No further data will be recorded by our system.
3. Purpose
The contact form enables a simplified means of providing information for entries in DSI electronically.
4. Legal basis
The legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter e) GDPR together with Article 6 Paragraph 3 GDPR and § 4 of the State Data Protection Act (the German "Landesdatenschutzgesetz").
5. Recipients
Your message is received by the secretary of the section for history of science & technology of the University of Stuttgart. Your name will be published on the dsi website only if you select “yes” on the last question “I want my name listed as a contributor to the DSI project!*”.
6. Storage duration
At the latest one year following receipt of the e-mail, the secretary deletes your message.
7. Consequences of non-provision, right of objection and correction
The use of the form is voluntary. You can also get in touch with the section for history of science & technology by fax, e-mail, telephone, personally or by post.

Should you not wish for your identity to be disclosed, it may then be the case that your matter cannot be processed. It will support your suggestion for an entry to DSI if we know who made it.
